During the program, the qaris recite the Quran in the Warsh from Nafi style of recitation.
The foreign reciters taking part in the Quranic event are the contenders in Egypt’s 30th international Quran competition, which kicked off last week.
Top Egyptian qaris like Ahmed Ahmed Nuaina, Taha Numani, Ahmed Tamim al-Maraghi, Mohamed Fathallah Bibris, Yusuf Qassim Halawah, Fathi Khalif, and Mahmoud Ali Hassan also attended the Khatm Quran prorgam.
In an address, Egypt’s Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mukhtar Gomaa stressed the need to make efforts so that the Quran is recited in every place and every home.
