Rashid Jafarpour, acting cultural and social deputy of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, said the final stage will be organized in person.
The University of Qom will host the national Quranic event, he went on to say.
The festival’s competitions are in different categories like memorization, recitation, Adhan (call to prayers), choral recitation, Tawasheeh (religious singing) and supplication recitation.
There are also other sections featuring arts, literature, research and Quranic innovations.
Some 130 top contenders will be announced and awarded as winners of different categories, according to Jafarpour.
