Iran’s Iconic Mosque to Host Quran Recitation Circles

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A series of Quran recitation circles and teachings classes will be held at the Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque, a mosque in Shiraz, south of Iran, famous for its exquisite colored tiling and wonderful stained glass of the winter prayer hall.

 

The Quranic programs will be held weekly on Tuesdays, staring next week.

Hesam Qanei, one of southern province of Fars’s top Quran reciters and experts will teach the classes.

The programs will be held with full compliance with the health protocols with Quran activists and people from all walks of life attending them.

The Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque, also known as the Pink Mosque, is a Qajar-era mosque in Shiraz.

The mosque includes extensive colored glass in its façade and displays other traditional elements.

When sunlight shines through the colorful glasses, it presents as exemplary beauty to the interior of the bedchamber, making this mosque outstandingly aesthetical.

The tiling and paintings of the bedchambers are of exceptional beauty as well.

The mosque attracts many travelers to Iran.
