TEHRAN (IQNA) – Sheikh Ahmed Abu Fayudh is a celebrated Quran reciter in Egypt.

Abu Fayudh is the president of the Qaris Association of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, according to El-Balad News.

Due to his beautiful voice and outstanding recitation, he has been given the title of the “Knight of Egypt’s Quran Reciters” by his fans.

Born in 1978 in Abu Ziyada village in Kafr El-Sheikh, he managed to memorize the entire Quran at the age of 9.

He then began frequenting Quran recitation sessions attended by top qaris of the time.

Abu Fayudh soon gained mastery over recitation skills and became a famous qari, first in his village, then in the governorate and later across the country.

In 2011, he was examined by a panel of experts at the Egyptian TV and radio authorities and was deemed qualified to recite the Quran on TV and radio.

He has travelled to numerous countries for recitation of the Quran, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

His recitations are very popular in social media.
