It said the decision comes after alleged violation of the rules of the Olympic Charter.
Norine had announced his retirement from participating in the “Tokyo 2020” Summer Games after the draw saw him face an Israeli player, a position supported by his coach Ammar Benkhlef.
The Algerian Judo Federation, the Algerian Olympic Committee, the African Judo Federation and the International Olympic Committee have also been informed of this decision, the text of which allows Nourine Al-Jazaery and the coach to appeal to their judgments at the International Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) within a period not exceeding 21 days.
Nourine was sent home from the Tokyo Games and suspended by the IJF on Saturday after he withdrew to avoid a potential round of 32 matchup with Butbul.
