Ayatollah Khamenei Pays Tribute to Late Founder of Islamic Republic
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, visited the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini, the late Founder of the Islamic Republic, in south Tehran on Sunday morning.
Ayatollah Khamenei recited the Quran and prayers at the mausoleum.
It came on the first of the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations, marking the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory.
The Leader also visited the graves of the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution and the Sacred Defense (1980-1989 Iraqi-imposed war).
