Iraqi Qari Recites Quran in Memory of Martyred Resistance Commanders (+Video)
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Top Iraqi Qari Salah Habib recited verses from the Quran in program held to commemorate martyred commanders of the Islamic resistance front Lt, General Qassem Soleimani and Abul Mahdi al-Muhandis.
Habib, who is a Qari of the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) in Karbala, performed the recitation as part of a Quranic campaign initiated by IQNA dubbed “Iraqi Qaris’ Recitation Gifted to Souls of Triumph Commanders”.
He recited verse 169 of Surah Al-Imran (3) of the Holy Quran:
“Do not think of those slain for the cause of God as dead. They are alive with their Lord and receive sustenance from Him.”
