Quran Competition for Shia Muslims Planned in 3 Countries

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The annual Quran recitation competition of Quranic Associations of Shia Muslims will be held in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain.

 

According to Qaaf news agency, the Quran center of Safa Charity Association in Safavi city of Shia-dominated Qatif region in Saudi Arabia announced that the 18th edition of the competition on Tajweed principles will be held for three age groups of children, youths and adults.

The preliminary stage of the competition will be held in Al-Ahsa and Qatif provinces of Saudi Arabia as well as Kuwait and Bahrain in March.

The final stage of the contest is slated for April 16 and 17.

The Quran Sciences Association of Bahrain, Al-e Yasin Quran Cente of Kuwait, Al-Ahsa Quranic Council and the Joint Quranic Council of Qatif and Dammam will cooperate in holding the annual Quranic event.
