Palestinians Deny Abbas Meeting with Israelis
TEHRAN (IQNA) – An international adviser to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas dimissed reports that Abbas has recently had a secret meeting with Nadav Argaman, head of Shabak (the Zionist regime’s security agency).
According to Misr al-Arabiya website, Majdi al-Khaledi described the reports as baseless and stressed that Abbas has had no meetings with Israeli officials.
Earlier, Israel’s Channel 12, had claimed that the two met recently with the aim of convincing Abbas to agree to receive the taxes transferred to it by Israel.
Abbas has refused to accept the money since Israel began deducting the salaries of Palestinian martyrs and their families from the money transferred to the PA.
