‘Quran in Culture of Muslim Nations’ Published in Russia

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Islamic Studies Foundation in Russia published a book titled “Quran in the Culture of Muslim Nations” by Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, a senior Iranian cleric.

  

It is a Russian translation of the cleric’s book titled “Hawl Al-Quran” which was published in cooperation with Islamica Scientific Educational Center of the Institute for Oriental Studies in Moscow.

The book is a collection of articles and speeches presented by Ayatollah Taskhiri, who is a senior advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in the Muslim world’s cultural affairs.

The key issues of Islam in view of Quran have been discussed in the book. The first part of the book includes discussions on Quranic sciences, the history of Quran, where the verses of Quran were revealed (Mecca or Medina), Mutashabih verses, Quran in view of Hadiths, revelation and miracle and doubts put forth by orientalists and the scientific interpretation of Quran.

The second part is a collection of thematic interpretation of Quran with subtitles such as Fitrat (nature) the eternal Divine art, Abraham the symbol of a perfect civilized human, Muses the savior of the poor, the future of human societies, the conditions of dialogue, individual and social rights and international relations.

As part of the Quranic projects of the foundation, the book was translated from Arabic into Russian and published by Sadra Institute of Moscow in 296 pages.

The foundation has so far published various translations and interpretations of the Quran into Russian, as well as 30 book titles on different Quranic issues.
