In the Quran reciting contest, Moroccan Ibrahim Bu-Ghaleb won the top award and Sana Al-Rifa'ie and Sana Bisiso came in the second and third places respectively.
The two-day contest gathered 723 eminent memorizers and reciters of the Holy Quran from 14 European countries, Ghamdan Al-Z'ietry, director of the Tunis-based Al-Furqan association said, KUNA reported.
Al-Z’ietry noted that this was the second version of the contest which is the largest of its kind in Europe.
