Tehran’s Bazaar Ahead of Muharram
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Selling items used in mourning ceremonies marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) has begun in Tehran’s Bazaar as the lunar Hijri month of Muhrram approaches.
During Muhrram, which will start on September 22, Shia Muslims around the world hold processions to mourn the martyrdom of the third Imam (AS) and his faithful companions in the 680 AD Battle of Karbala.
