Islamic Museum of Australia
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Islamic Museum of Australia (IMA) is a community museum in Thornbury, Melbourne, Australia.
It was luanched in 2014 as the first Islamic museum in Australia with the purpose of showcasing the artistic heritage and historical contributions of Muslims in Australia and abroad through the display of artworks and historical artefacts
"The mission is to create a culture of awareness and understanding through innovative environments, programs and tools that help people nurture their curiosity about Islam and build bridges of understanding between cultures, the museum’s website says.
